1) Pls come to college in your ethnic costume on Monday,21st July. This is cos we are celebrating Racial Harmony Day.
2)Remember what you were being warned abt during assembly today wrt what u need to do over the weekend? Pls get it done or u would be in for a surprise on Monday. Girls i think u better check ur skirt length as well.
On a separate note, congrats to Li Ming n Eric.U r now officially taking over the leadership of e college. As student leaders, u do have a set of protocol to adhere to. Yup,so lead ur batch well. :) A memorable day for u, i believe.
Anson,pls get well soon. Though u missed the commendation today, but next week still marks the beginning of ur leadership as a student councillor.

Anyway, my friend has this oh-my-dann-funny joke which I was tempted to share with you! =)
joke of the day:
A Minneapolis couple decided to go to Florida to thaw out during a particularly icy winter. They planned to stay at the same hotel where they spent their honeymoon 20 years earlier. Because of hectic schedules, it was difficult to coordinate their travel plans. So, the husband left Minnesota and flew to Florida on Thursday, with his wife flying down the following day. The husband checked into the hotel. There was a computer in his room, so he decided to send an email to his wife. However, he accidentally left out one letter in her email address, and without realizing his error, sent the email.
Meanwhile, somewhere in Houston, a widow had just returned home from her husband's funeral. He was a minister who was called home to glory following a heart attack. The widow decided to check her email expecting messages from relatives and friends. After reading the first message, she screamed and fainted. The widow's son rushed into the room, found his mother on the floor, and saw the computer screen which read:
To: My loving wife
Subject: I've arrived
Date: April 6, 2006
I know you're surprised to hear from me. They have computers here now and you are allowed to send emails to your loved ones. I've just arrived and have been checked in. Hi pple,
Thks for being such responsive n wonderful pple for the Learning Journey today. From what i had observed, none fell asleep. (Hmmm,if u had actually dozed off n got away with it,u must have really mastered the skill of sleeping with ur eyes opened)
Anyway, as this week was quite hectic with both mock oral exams everyday together with normal lessons, there were a few issues i would like to address but did not really put time in to do it. This is a warning in advance:
Starting from next week, i will be handling some disciplines issues which are in some pple in the class. If need be, I would be inviting ur parents down for a nice chat. I think enough chances had been given and warnings had been given.
The 2 aspects which will be dealt with are :late-coming, skipping lessons n programmes. These are the more serious problems which are evident and are escalating.

Hi pple, to add on to what Joshua had said, I really think it was very encouraging to see u all at the booth, with ur gloves, trying to look professional :)
It takes everyone to put the act together n along the way, mistakes are made, but they should be forgiven cos afterall, it is the 1st time anyone of u tried this. I think i would also like to thank Joshua for organising the coms, giving the various heads an idea what their job scope is. Yes, it can be nerve breaking but this is what we all have to face in society someday.
I c in most of u responsibility n integrity. Now i would like u to add in u: determination and strong will.
Though i was not there the whole day,I confess, cos there was this scary thing on the track called the Dunking Machine, yup. From the half an hour of observation from the balcony, i really thanked those who did their job well n responsibly.I like the decor with the balloons. It was nice!
Let's remember the mistakes we made n try not to repeat them.Learn to forgive n forget. I'm not a master at this but we all need to try n achieve this. :)
Coming up next: Service Learning, let's make the day a memorable one for the children :)

Hey students of 08s05!
1) DO NOT EVER USE WATER TO DILUTE THE CHOCOLATE (water won't make chocolate watery and in no way make it flow) 
All in all, I hope everyone enjoyed themselves and that we learn a little something about our friends that you'll be stuck with the next 2years. Personally I think the whole idea of street market was great, and it is a really good bonding event for our class. If given another chance to run this event, hahahahahha!xD I'll reconsider the options! Wish that our class got closer through this event, and yea, do continue to contribute in your little ways to the class. Like the Service Learning Donavan is in charged of, a little help here and there really makes a big difference.

OK class, I NEED THE HELP OF YOU ALL! For service learning, we are doing it with a Child Development Center. Currently we are doing wall painting and a skit of a story, a bedtime story i guess. Firstly, I need people who can draw well, or thinks he or she can draw well to volunteer themself! This is very important, so dont feel shy or what..Thanks Su Anne for willingly volunteering herself! Secondly, I need ideas of what we can do with the kids, cause this whole service learning event need to last for 4 hrs minimum, and when some are doing wall painting, the rest shld be doing something else....such as the skit mentioned. But no skit will last for 4 hours...so maybe games for icebreaker, teach to sing songs...i dont haf much idea currently, so really need you guys help. This is an event where everyone is involve, so do not try to shy away from it. The age group is about pri 1-3
